    Hearing Protection

    Does anybody use anthing like this to protect their little ears when DJing or when out: http://www.hearingprotection.co.uk/music.php?g=er15

    I'm getting myself fitted up for some 9db ones next week, I have FEAR of tintinitus :spangled:

    my hearings bad enough as it is but my hearing was shot to bits on sunday.. cudnt hear properly til late on monday :down: ... and i hadnt even been to twisted logic :laugh: ;)

    deffo going to stay away from the speakers nxt time im out..

    mine were hurting last friday when i was djing. so im definitley gonna get some protection.

    That's the going rate for custom fit ones, and what price would you put on your hearing? Also to be fair they are a 'business expense' :D :D

    You getting them from that place in Ponteland?

    Was going to get some earlier in the year but couldn't afford them, definately well worth it though if you can. After all, how the fuck are you going to mix if you can't hear?

    They are £160, for either the 9db or 15db, you choose which filters you want in them when you go for the fitting.......

    I'm getting them from a place in Gosforth, PM me if you want the details! :p

    I have some they were about £75ish, used them a few times.

    I'm def as a **** anyway so it's a bit late to worry :lol:

    i use some docs earplugs that i got from richer sounds for a tenner. they have done wonders. i don't get ringing in the morning, my ears no longer hurt plus i can still mix with them in!
