Will be fucking gutted if this is true.

Also, if they're losing 33% of the stages, does that mean i'll get 33% of the 62quid i shelled out back?????

My guess is this is due to poor tickets sales. They'll make the sight much smaller so it looks busier, salvage money from drinks and merchandise because people won't fuck off early "'cos it's empty" - and then reconsider even putting this event on again next year.....

It doesn't matter who or what try's to put a large scale event on up here it still goes pear shaped.

I said at the start if this fails, especially after the Love Parade incident, nobody will ever consider putting big events on up here again.

    Very true

I wouldnt be suprised if ticket sales have been slow, it is pretty expensive to be fair, even the radio stations have said that!!

Is it Godskitchen organising the hifi festival?

if so they are the most unreliable promoters in the business

    Yes it is.

But I think it's a combination of dead or nearly dead people from the area setting up a petition and the authorities not just bad organisation.

Its to do with Global Gathering yeah

Which is a MASSIVE success every year so im sure not everyone will agree with your opinion of the promoters!!

My opinion is just one opinion theirs tonnes of times they’ve falsely advertised 'people pulling djs' in order to sell more tickets!!

Fair enough but Global Gathering always seems to have the advertised DJs!

yes because its a festival and festivals host big name djs

last godskitchen i pointed out to amo out of tidy that i was looking forward to seeing him again, their names were plastered all over billboards and crap for weeks on end, turns out amo had no idea him and andy were playing

false advertising imo but makes a good review
