it may all not be true - but only 4000 tickets sold?!? so could all the mis-information, hassle with licences and rumours flying around have contributed to a bad turn out?

I'm not saying it won't be good - just not what people would have liked - but maybe up here just isn't 'festival country' i.e. love parade

I know this whole arguement went on before, but i agree with Alex, and think they would have to put something on the website if one or more stages were being cancelled.

Fair enough i might not get any money back on my ticket, but if the promoters know a stage has been cancelled then they'd be conning people buying tickets today/tomorrow.

Cue 'yeah it's GK, and they do it all the time'.

i dont think they would put an announcement out because potential people who may purchase tickets will be put off

their more likely to do it an hour before the event

and Godskitchen are notorious wankers when it comes to false advertising in order to boost ticket sales

    just spoke to event express

shuttle buses are running as normal, except they are £12 return

robbing fuckers- thats £70 before you even get in

better than the pre-arranged coach though- id rather pay £2 more for the flexibility of going up when i want to

That is utter bollocks as at about 6pm last night there were about 16,000 tickets** sold. With a lot of people planning on paying yesterday around the ticket outlets, today and on site tomorrow (as pay day was only 25th for most) - they expect approx. 21,000 - 22,000 or more to turn up out of an original 25,000 expected. Which, imo, is not bad considering all the shite that's been flying around about it.

**Source - On site box office. When a best mate of mine went to collect his "resident" tickets he was told this by the people involved in the events organisation. The reason they told him this is because they said they "may" extend the area covered that they class as residential to get rid of the additional "resident" tickets that had not been taken by some of the older locals.....

 could be a big reason why people are put off... creamfields used to be like £30-£40... how much is it nowadays?

If Maximo Park were on Stage 2 then it is cancelled as they've been moved to the Main Stage along with a few others.....

Won't effect the event though - again imo!
