    Hipp-e and Medicine 8

How good was hipp-e last night?

Shit loads of dubby, techy west coast house, and a really sound lad with it.

    Shame medicine8 were shite

Acid House, a couple of rock tracks and the odd breaks track.
I'd heard that they played across the board so maybe I was expecting too much from them.

IMHO not the greatest act to follow up a tech house act. Having heard fairly minimal house for a couple of hours to hear shit loads of synths and have hardly any bass line came as a bit of a surprise. It made them almost seem, compared to what was being played before, funky.

Wouldn't you have parties all the time if you did a degree with two hours a week lectures, and unlimited income to fund it ?

I loved what Hippe was playing, subline west coast beats over a phat bass. His set was going somewhere.......Medicine 8's wasnt.

there were alot of dickheadz there that night also.

Hipp e is a sound bloke. I asked him what he thought about the english party crowd and he said something like this:

"yeah man its cool, like america is so em gay..."

**** edited, not sure shud be discussin ppl's personal habit's like that on ere fella ;) ****
