what?! they were all on before 4pm.

cassius was on at 6:30pm til 8

de la soul was on at 5:25 til 6 i think

and jaques lu cont was also on at 5:30 til 6:30.

AND roger sanchez was fucking amazing! he can scratch, it sounded mint.

why didn't you stay and listen to erol alkan after soulwax then move through to lottie instead of leaving?!

you also missed by far and away the set of the night in the form of jon carter. he was awesome, nuff said.

homelands was mint. you should've bought a program and planned your night better instead of whinging, there was a lot more than d 'n' b.

set off earlier next time, the whole thing was meant to start at 1pm and you set off at 1:30pm from the north east to get to the south coast!

PS dexter is from the avalanches, he's fucking nuts!

me and che were there on a freebie taking photos for work, so leaving early didn't really bother either of us...

we were both 'staying straight' as working, so leaving Newcastle at 8am, driving for 7hrs, staying at Homelands til 6am then driving home for 7hrs completely chemical free was really not big or clever, sad as it is to say u 'need' stimulants

I was badly hurt in a car accident last year after doing summat similar, now I always play safe

im sure me not having the best night of my life ever did not effect your enjoyment one little bit...

ps this post was originally intended as a humourous comment on my day out, when you've been on the board a little longer u may recognise this and take with the pinch of salt I often don't add to my servings of Board-life.

I know you've had a heavy weekend maxing it up til the tents were packed up at homelands, but lighten up a bit petal ;)

well that's very sensible and good for you, that's how it should be.

i agree with you, that's why we got the train there and back.

i'm glad you explained yourself cos i just didn't want people to get the impression that homelands was shit and badly organised. cos it weren't.

To my fellow Message boarders -

as a member of the press who has been in contact with epm Pr (Homelands pr company) since they started mailing us back in Feb, i can assure all concerned readers that Nick and Jonas were the HEIGHT of organisation, and even sent me DESTRUCTIONS from toon to the bowl, gave a CORRECT list of set times (never trust the set time tags u buy kids!!) and even gave us the OPTION of donating to charidy on the door, not like Crasher who just take it off you or else.

I thank you all for your attention in this matter

ps glad you had fun Nicola!

For those who found it too far to drive but too far to get public transport, an idea to go to Homelands next year is to drive to a city just over half-way, close enough to get on a coach trip and it not take forever. This gives the advantage of a few hours of recovery time on the coach back before you finish off your drive home
