Thats so funny!! Why do people ''modify'' their cars to look gash must spend thousands too.

Because you can make a nova go faster than an m3 beemer and embarrass the twat who owns it for a fraction of the cost too

My mate had a nova with a 2litre cav turbo engine fitted in it.. had to upgrade the breaks.. it was insane fast. The weight of a Nova with the brute force of a Cav turbo.

Many a time did we pull up next to flash gits in their cars, revving the engines at us. Smoke the lot of them

Its a hobby that I also enjoy but don't have the money to do effectively.

who says just because its modified it has to have a giant exhaust?, and personally id take the nova - just to show you, you aint what you think you are

*edit* in my personal experience bm drivers tend to be pricks behind the wheel - 'ive got a bm, its so fast, i can do anything i want on the road' etc

True.. but there is a level of satisfaction involved when being the underdog and winning.

Btw , yes i agree novas are shite, but if they can out perform the 'higher end' of the motor market for next to chuff all money then im all for them
