I fucking Tunes help needed! Arghhh I feel like Im going to rip my hair out. I haven't used it for ages and Im trying to upload all my new sets to it but for some reason it won't update them when it says its updating my ipod. All the ones I want are in my library but just not on the ipod and Ive got enough space
can u use the ipod when not connected? try a reboot of it - hold 'menu' and 'select' at the same time. Then, reconnect it. Also, if there's nowt on it that u don't have in the library - just format it using the 'restore' option. u using iTunes 7? my mate fucked his. i had to restore it to a previous version of the firmware using an old ipod updater (Jan 06 works) THEN re-connect to iTunes 7 - at which point it'll upgrade it AGAIN to the new, gapless version of the firmware.
HAS iTUNES 7 COCKED UP YOUR iPOD? Use this older firmware updater to revert back to a previous verion on the iPod - THEN connect it to iTunes 7 and it'll re-update it again - but let it finish this time. iPod Updater Jan 06
try manually dragging the sets from the main itunes library onto your ipod icon, I have mine set so I have to manually update it as there are some sets and stuff that I dont have on my itunes any more and I dont want to lose them.
Do other tracks work? Is you pod not setup to update from a playlist due to the size of your library?
I've just spent two fecking hours sorting my library out.. covers linked in.. proper names, everything. So tired now
