ID a tune Taul Paul Played at GK?? Anyone know the tune that Taul Paul played at about 12:10 at GK? Fantastic track, has like glockenspiel sounds in it.
No! I'd know that! He didn't play das glockenspiel anyway! were you even there? Thanks for the suggestion anyway mate!
lol, erm I doubt it as it was a fantastic track, I know that it was played at around 12:10 because I have a 20sec clip of it that I saved on my phone. Except when I recorded it I had no idea how good it was, it was only when I listened back earlier today that I realised! I looked on tall paul's website to see if he has a 'in the box' section but frankly 'webshite' would be a better description. Also does anyone know if GK was broadcast on galaxy?
I think you may have mis-read the website... --------------------------------------------------------------- "Get in the mood for the big event by checking out Dave Kelly all this week to hear exclusive mixes between 23:00 - 01:00 Tuesday 6th April - mixed by Marco V. Wednesday 7th April - mixed by Ferry Corston (1st Hour) and Jon Obir (2nd Hour) Thursday 8th April - mixed by Scot Project"
The event has nothing to do with metro! Metro sponsor the arena, nothing more!!! Following that argument last GK would've been broadcast on Cable TV by telewest and galaxy wouldn't have been able to broadcast that either!! Metro have no connections with GK as far as I know, oh and also don't be fooled that it's metro who sponsor the arena, the funds all come from emap. Hi Terry btw.
yea but galaxy arent in direct competition with telewest, whereas metro are in direct competition with galaxy... or at least that makes sense to me :spangled: + yo tom
he did play Candeejay - If I Were You (Michael Woods Remix) which i though was a new warrior at the time, suppose i wasn't far off
no it wasn't candeejay, the track was quite similar to Filterheadz - Yimanya if that helps anyone ID it. I even emailed tall paul to ask he didn't know either I treid to listen to the mix on his site too but the 'members' section doesn't seem to work for me.
well it was about a week later when he replied by that time he couldn't remember what tune he played at 10past midnight a week ago, not the hard to understand really.
You should remember what tunes you played a week ago (especially at abig event)....doesnt sound like he's had much of a think about it
