not all the peeps on here are nippers.... i too remember the 'early' days of seeing NJOI leeds poly in 92, T99 were once on aswell. Ratpack, TTF, etc. reminds me of being 16 and leaving school in summer '91. Altern-8 were class too - but never had the pleasure of meeting them so i couldn't say if they were pricks or not. Seeing the first Renasiance tour with diggers and sasha when the live tape i blagged sounded exactly like the album tracks.... going to the gallery in leeds every friday - or occasionally 'basics' at the warehouse b4 it turned into what would now be called 'a super club' cause it was known all over the country.

but i've also moved on nowadays and look back on those times for what it was.

An old style Judgement Day line-up would be ideal for me as this is when I first started going to these types of events.
Dj's like Scott Brown, Si, Bass Generator, Technotrance and a P.A. like Bass-X or something in the main room, DJ's like Smurf, Lenny D, Simon Underground etc in the back room playing Gabba.
    :)

Never herd of that style of trance, I must have been "one of the punters who were about 6 and tucked up in bed at the time"

Re: Re: wanabees take a good look at smurf

haha, you should of saw the state of me 2 weeks ago in Edinburgh.

Went up on Friday to see the Boss, Lenny Dee and was supposed to leave at 6am to get the train back to Newcastle to go to Prague for the weekend.

Didnt get home till Wednesday morning.

Cant remember being at the club on the Friday. Big lads were picking me up and doing wrestling moves on me. Hence massive bruises on ma legs, feet and lump on ma back.

Missed the train in the morning as expected.

Sometime on Saturday, went to the shop with newspaper cellotaped to me legs & arms and a toaster celletoaped to me chest.

Was sitting upside down on a settee and didnt realise, with me trousers round me ankles and me wadger sticking out.

Went to the toilet with a kettle.

Went to view a flat with ma mate, full of mushrooms, ha ha. That was funny. For some reason I thought the new flat had been burgled by a Croatian with a packet of mints ?!

Forgot to go to an oldskool night in Edinburgh on the Sunday.
    Cant remember Monday.

Got home on Wednesday, 2 hours late for work.

Stayed in last weekend, 2nd time this year.

    Goodnight.
