With it being monthly then Mark would you be looking to book any of the following :

    Armin Van Burren
    Tiesto
    Paul Van Dyk
    Matt Hardwick
    Scott Bond

Or would you prefer to have a variety of DJ's on bearing in mind the list i have made will charge big ££ ??

    Cheers

I think in the long term, this will be better for both Promise, and Promise-goers.

Any chance of some bigger names in the Always room too then?

I think this would be a perfect time to recommend (again) Mat Playford and Steve Kelley (Passion) ;)

Think it's a good idea. Some variety to what has sadly become a stale industry. Weekly clubs have been slowly suffering. Look how Gods has been suffering lately with its samey line-ups. Attendences dropping to 100 people etc. Not good.

Fingers crossed things will improve and good luck for the future :D

yet more sad news for club land. clubbing is well in decline now mark has done well to keep promise going as long as it has in the current environment. it seems whatever he gets tried it still does not even half fill the club. it's a shame but most clubs are like that these days.

I'm quite gutted but it had to happen sooner or later! Going monthly should bring back a bit of excitement, but its a shame for the trance heads because they only have one night a month now!

The first monthly is the day after my birthday! :D Bugger, its also the day before the global gathering!

Mark - when is the last weekly Promise? Please don't say Shan and Anne Savage is no longer happening!

Anyway, good luck with the changes.

Surely if the Promise Experience is to focus its attention on a montly event, rather than weekly, meaning more money to focus on bigger or more difficult bookings, it can begin to appeal to two different markets?
Could even put someone more underground on, like Mat Playford or Steve, or many others, then somebody a bit more 'Trance-fan friendly' like Trophy Twins.
Trance fans just need an open mind anyway. I didn't play one cheesy tune at Twisted Logic, and everybody loved it.

Anyway, at least soemthing to think about, I think there's more than me that would like to see some decent quality House DJs in the Always room.
