Seriously, take the lad to Tandoori Nights - its on the side where Grays club used to be but just a bit up from there.

The food and service is excellent, if you fancy something rather special I recommend either the chicken tikka chilli massala or ask them to make you a spicy chicken garlic massala!!

And tell your mate, providing he is in the forces, to keep up the good work out there, they should get more apprication along with the lads in afghanistan.

Nah, but if there is a competition ill have a blast at the winner like!!!

It's just it seems that alot of people dont really care how our boys and girls are doing in the services and I think they get treat rather shabbily when they are injured etc. All people care about are the reasons why we are at war, right or wrong, they dont actually think of human cost of these things.

True. people seem to rant on about that we shouldn't be there but they seem to forget the troops don't have a choice. I doubt they wanna be there either (apart from the odd blood thirsty racist) lol.

why are people in the army always our 'boys' surely they are our men? I think it's because they are sentimentalised. they chose to join the army. they should know that soldiers have always been treated like shit as soon as the fighting is over. it's no good moaning about it afterwards things like that will never change.

Thats the job of a soldier - to fight a war (besides what the reason for being there is!). Your used by the system then spat out like shit.

Anyone saying bullshit that they are in it for a career need to get a grip on reality.

Guns are designed to kill, soldiers fire them. Dont like it? Well leave!
