Inurance Claims Im claiming on my student insurance for a stolen laptop. Its insured for 600 pounds. Do they give you a cheque for 600 quid or do they replace you laptop. My laptop is continued now and they dont make it anymore can anyone shed some light
it depends some insurance companies send you a cheque, some replace the laptop, just ring them and ask them
some make you get one from their 'approved suppliers' who give you what they say is the equivalent model. but it always seems to be a slightly worse spec than the one you had
