    Iraq

After all the aftermath I was wondering what everyones thoughts were....

The majority of this board belived the bullshit propoganda launched by our government and the tabloids.

    1. There were no weapons of mass destruction.
    2. It was a war about a oil.
    3. It wasn't about liberating, I garuantee they will be shipping oil out of Iraq before they have brought back an element of normality to the average Iraqi's life.

    Was it a justified war?

If so should we go and remove every dictator who doesn't comply to our ideals of a "free government".

I still to this day think war wasn't justified, thousands of people were killed and thousands of people are still dying and suffering, we obliterated a stable country for oil.

I told you as this before the war!

Saddam has been fitted up by the yanks (They gave him chemical weapons in the early 80's for use in the Iran/Iraq war, know that they could use it against him in time).

They cant say the war was justified because of his crimes to humanity as well because Saddam is a pussy compared to the African warlords.

As for saying "oh..............well he might have destroyed his weapons before the war" !!! hahaha nobbers!

Its all part of the Globalisation plan by the global secret government aka Majestic12.

Watched a thing on Castro last night.............. the fucking yanks have tried to bump him off plenty of times and funded a invasion of Cuba as well!

America are the most aggressive country in the world!!

I honestly believe some sort of action was necessary. Just looking at the freedom on the Iraqi civilians faces the day they brought that statue down was quite memorable.

I also think the many mass graves that have been found and dug up are evidence enough for weapons of mass destruction, even if it was one rifle.

I'm not too clued up on all the political jargon but I do understand that the Americans have many other alterior motives!!

lol and they fail every fucking time :D

castro ='s :king:, I still celbrate april the 17th ;)

Funny how the cuba/america thing was all about oil (not communisum and it repressive regime)

There is no NWO or Majestic12, the UN isn't going to govern the world... Why would the US hand over their power? They've already demonstrated that they can do and take anything they want.

This war was poor bullshit Geoff Hoon told parliment that Saddam could activate his weapons of Mass Destruction within 45 minutes... What fucking weapons?

The only true threat to the world are America who have space age weapons of Mass Destruction and they've just demonstrated their dangerous trigger happy nature.

p.s. Craig you weren't clued up on trance you spoke out of turn and looked a tit, your not clued up on politics - you've spoke out of turn and again ur looking a tit ;) :p

Craig you saw the british propoganda, non of us have seen the real picture... There were far more effective ways of removing saddam from power - a war wasn't the best. We've left a country in ruins.

So, what your saying is I would make a good politician ;)

All I said was I believed some sort of action was necessarry. I agree that sending in thousand of jackass style yanky trigger happy troops was not the best way but those people deserved freedom.

Do you actually believe this shite Joe?

Joe you're very naive if you think Sadam has not been developing WMD's. Just because they have yet to be found that doesn't mean he didn't have them, or that they aren't hiding in Iraq somewhere. Didn't the US army find a mobile chemical weapons lab? What the fuck would the Iraqi's need a mobile chemical weapon lab for if they had neither the interest or the means to manufacture chemical weapons. I have no doubt that Tony Blair and George Bush believed whole-heartedly that Sadam had WMD's....whether this was their only motivation for going to war I'm not sure.

You also seem to be neglecting the al-Qaeda links to Iraq. After September 11 the world changed...the west isn't just going to sit around and wait for yet another terrorist attack any more. It's a shitty world we live in you know.

I do agree that America will probably continue its efforts to "rid the world of terror" with or without our support. They'll make even more enemies and it will probably be their undoing. Not a lot we can do about it tho Joe and I bet those developing WMD's and supporting terrorism don't value our lives as much as we seem to value theirs.

With all the continued finger pointing (Syria, Iran, N Korea) I think America will eventually bite off more than they can chew.
I just hope they don't push N Korea too far cos they'll start flinging nukes without a second thought.

    Re: Iraq

Joe your arguments have some validity but you really do talk some shit as well.

We clearly havent obliterated Iraq so wtf you talking about?? In fact we went to great lengths and at risk to our own troops in serious attempts to minimise civilian casualties and damage to infrastructure. It would have been a lot simpler and quicker to blanket bomb but we didn't!

"stable"  well I s'pose you could describe staying in power for over 30 years by killing any opposition as stable, but I wouldnt.

re the WMD's, I'm starting to believe that Iraq had much less capability than we were led to believe, that Blair and Bush knew this at the time but grossly overstated this as their main justification for war. Naughty!

If the Israel/Palestine problem is sorted out (at least to a reasonable degree, as neither side will ever really be happy while the other exists), this will go a long way to reducing the easat/west arguments.

Who the fuck are you to patronise me?

This is possibly the most ill thought through post you've ever made, applying the same logic you use - "your very naive to think Saddam has been devoleping WMD" neither of us can prove this allegation, as neither of us work as sping doctors for washington or downing street and neither or us work for intelligence agency (unless your 009 inbetween working @ the magicbox and fighting with lee)

    WMD

Before we went to war we the british and american public were told that Iraq HAD wmd which could be activated within 45 minutes, we were told they had chemical and biological weapons and the even the possibility of nucleaur weapons.... Yet we've found nothing cept pestisides, gas masks (erm most armies have em) and an alleged 2 mobile factories (which haven't been proved - they could like the barrels be anything).

The UN (who's job america stole and fucked up) didn't belive there were any weapons, to date they have been proved right - this wasn't a justified war... Money grabbing western beurocrats had decided on this war long ago, there was nothing the UN could do about.... Just check Bush's policy - he mentions dealing with Iraq before even coming into power.

I'm sorry but I don't trust the American Armed Forces are capable of passing judgement on wether something is or isn't a mobile chemical weapons factory. ""Lt. Valerie Phipps and her squad used three different methods to test liquid from one of the barrels. The preliminary tests showed it to be a mixture of three chemicals, including a nerve agent and blistering agent. Phipps said the tests have an accuracy of 98 percent." As your well aware this 98% accurate finding turned out to be pestiside, this a corrupt and inadequite military, that is prone to lying and making mistakes - you can trust them - I know I don't.

WMD have been devoleped there in the past we helped supply and devolp them! But this time - there is no hard evidence and when invading a country you need a little more than a hunch.

    Al-Quada

I'm sorry what links are these? I know a lot of newspapers are forever making links and washington is forever linking and the retracting its statements take: "WASHINGTON, May 1 - Federal authorities have concluded that there is no evidence that Mohamed Atta, the suspected ringleader of the Sept. 11 attacks, met with an Iraqi intelligence officer before the hijackings." In January both Bush and Blair said they couldn't link Al Queda with Iraq, the linking only came with the propoganda... Tell me Paul which links are you talking about?

And please who's fucking life do we value, we broke international laws and used cluster bombs in built up areas, which are still to this day exploding and killing innocent people... This war wasn't about people if it was such inhumaine methods wouldn't of been used... This war was about greed - simple.

Next time you call me naive - I suggest you do a little research... Don't quote me the bloody mirror, I can read the mirror myself!

    Re: Re: Iraq

    How am I talking shit?

Si I've just wrote paul an essay - comment on that if you please....

But again as I said to Paul get a clue.

This was a war about oil.... Why would americans spend billions on freedom? Theres loads of worse of countries than Iraq - but merica and trying to liberate them as they get fuck all out of it.

This war was decided on years ago and many washington have admited to the oil, they just claim its a benifit. America's oil reserves are running out fast.

    I'm missing your point?

I agree the problem needs to be sorted, I was once pro-israeli but the way the Israeli givernment conduct themselves is a way I can't agree with. Israel should be an independent state, but the way they masacre civilians and use US influenced techniques (we don't give a shit about anyone or anything we'll do as and what we please), I can't support them.

Did anyone see the killing zone?

My point was that if the Israel/Palestine problem gets sorted out, it should remove a lot of the east/west antagonism, which should ultimately help reduce terrorist threats and action taken in the name of counteracting them. America will have less of an excuse to do what it wants, and will have less backing from elsewhere.

And before you have a go, I know this is very simplified and won't solve everything, but I think it will make more of a difference than anything else.

Do you really think that the USA and Britian spent millions, if not billions of dollars, risked the lives of its own troops, the lives of countless Iraqi's, and its relationship with the UN and half of the world for oil???

I wasn't trying to patronise you and I don't read the Mirror...I was simply trying to get you to see that there is a LOT more to this than oil.

And the fact is that you feel you are qualified to make these types or aguments so why aren't I? My opinions are no less valid than yours no matter where I work or who I fight with in my spare time!

Anyways I got your ticket for Orbit dude! :p

I agree but it isn't in the shape of:

    a. the NWO
    b. Majestictwelve
    c. the UN

Its in the shape of big business energy companies and the likes, the companies which funded bush and helped him into power. Take the Kyoto treaty or this oil war, he doesn't think for himself he is a puppet for big business and the military. I know the tories and mirror subscirbers will be screaming bloody murder and he aint a puppet.... but face it kids he is :D

Paul I haven't patronised you in any shape or form and have provided alot more facts than you have, all you've given me is your opinions - I've presented you with FACTS - yet your the one patronising me? hrrrrmmmmmm something aint right.

Paul I'm not going to repeat myself but in your words "your very naive if you think this war wasn't about oil" why do you think the securing of oil feilds came before civilian life and the dropping of oil sanctions comes before connecting electricity.... Think before speaking :D
