Dr Vivienne Nathanson, of the British Medical Association, said she was "delighted" by Tuesday's Commons results, adding: "Every day around 30 people die in the UK as a result of second-hand smoke."

MURDERERS!!!! You dont look at it that way do you. Quite sad :(

I would have been happy with either this or an exemption in private clubs, there's nothing I hate more than breathing this crap in when i'm working

yes, a heavy smoker, and he was against any ban in line with his usual egotistical predictable demeanor, but then, he is a narrow minded prick so no less than I expected ;)

clarkson would give si quick a run for his money in the dinosaur stakes...

so where do smokers go for a smoke when they are in a night club?

Are they letting them outside for a smoke, then back in? Or a smoking room?

This is going to be fucking obscene to enforce!!

lol im glad personally, but i can see the smokers having a lot to say about this, lets see if the government have the balls to stick to their guns when they have half of britains smoking population on their backs. This could also mean stuff like the streets will be even dirtier than they are now if everyone has to go outside for a fag.

I think it will be tough as the brits in general are a bunch of tossers who do as they please, you still see wankers smoking in eldon square and its been no smoking for 2 years.

Works well in other countries i've been too though. Clubs and bars will probably set areas aside outside the premises for smokers.
