Arghhhh Im soooo annoyed about my job at the minute. Ive just got a temp job at orange and the contract was until the end of December...when I took the job out my shifts were 5 days a week once every other week we had to work a sat until 6 which was fine... They then changed the shifts so we were working only 6 hours a day 8 till 2 in the afternoon and if we didn't take it they would be letting us go at the end of the week which was annoying but was ok....
Today we got taken into an office where there was 2 seperate teams...my team got told that we had to start working every Sunday starting from 8 in the morning till 4 in afternoon or we get sacked on Firday whereas the other team full of charvers got told they would be getting every sunday and monday off. Im so annoyed I dunno what to do it would mean I could never go out no a Sat and its too soon before xmas to leave and get another job

Just go to work still wankered off the night before.

I WANT THE SUNDAY AND MONDAY OFF!! I shall fight till I do! I did something really naughty to try and do it but Im not putting on here (no its not sexual)

Keep at it though or try having a word with your team leader

My team leader is a big fat repulsive pig. He hangs over the desks with his girth hanging on my desk like a big silver back gorilla. He hates me arghhhh Im sure he actually has a voodoo doll of me he stabs on a daily basis! SO thats no good

Maybe that is where you are going wrong?

just ask if you can be transferd to the other team or ask the t/leader (who ever in charge) to see if anyone wants to swap, you'd be suprise how many people would work weekends!

if matters are not sorted take things into your own hands and just come in on the opposite shift and say your not moving

get yourself a pair of big hoop ear rings a pair of tracksuit pants and a spray way jacket, they might move you on the other team

sasha, house party, shower, regular coffees, red bull and dabs of mdma should see you through til 4 no problems

On a side note.. my new jobs goin gr8.. apart from having to get up at 5.30 in the morning..

Fridays gonna be horrible.. won't get in from the Killers till around 1 then up for work at 5.30

It means I would miss out on all the afterparty banter though! I want 2 days off at a time aswell...having one day off at a time means I can't do anything I was meant to be going and staying in teeside next weekend then leeds sometime before christmas n I cant do anything!

You could tell your manager that you arranged your holidays around your originally organised working dates and that it is impossible for you to change the dates due to it being so close to the date in question.

If your staying in Teesside then bend the truth a bit.. tell him you have reservations here and that you have rang but they are fully booked for the rooms you can afford around you new working days.

If you have prearranged things then they might offer some flexibility.

Its worth a shot.. failing that.. get a new job.
There are probably places in town looking for staff.. I'm sure they're still taking on a John Lewis
Only thing is they would probably want you as weekend cover.. so you would have to state that you have plans for certain dates
