its got some class tunes and some shite, i wouldnt buy it, i think id be quite dissapointed if i went to see darren tate and he played a set like that tbh
hes trying to jump between the commercial and non commercial side of trance, it doesnt work like that, he should release well produced stuff or just give in for the money and piss off imo, id walk out if he played some of his jurgen vries stuff in a club, some of its sick lol
Its just what Ministry have done aswell, they're old CD's were class but now they try to balance commercial and non-commercial tracks in one compilation, I never buy them anymore. The old Essential Mix CD's were the best by far.
i think its crap myself, to me its 2 total differant kinda of music that should be kept apart, and theres only one reason why an established producer would release a radio stuff under a differant name, and thats for money which is pretty sad.
True, it kicks them in the teeth in the long run tho, they end up losing gigs because they are branded as cheesy producers, I bet if Darren Tate had stuck to some of his less cheesy decent trance productions he would be playing at alot bigger and better nights.
i love synergy, the breakdown on that is absolutely immense, then you listen to his vurgen vries stuff lol
but if u have the option to make loadsa money off a commercial cd and also make a more credible one then who wouldnt do both?
Well Jurgen Vries is longer with us anymore he threw that project out the window. He now wants to work on new projects.
no way would i mate, the whole point in djing is to play what you love, not to play what you know the general public want to hear
