    Las Vegas

My dad is turning 50 this year and is a total gambler so me and mam are looking to pay for him to go over to Las Vegas for his birthday.

Was just wondering if anyone has been before, where abouts is the best palce to stay, he wants to stay in the Bellagio but that's pushing it

Also where are the best places to book up and get the cheapest deals?

    Ta :)

Vegas rules, you will love it.

Hotels are usuall very reasonably priced actually, as is food, and if you are gambling you will get free drinks.

Awesome place. Some wicked clubs aswell.

    Do it.

    :)

We stayed in The Excalibur which was pretty cheap too (can't remember how much) and really enjoyed it. Quite a fun hotel, with a medieval theme and its next to New York New York. That looked a good one to stay in too.

We were also near the Bellagio (10 min walk) and Paris is opposite that.

If you do go, try and do some of the free things too:

    Exploding volcano @ Mirage
    Dancing Fountains @ Bellagio
Lions @ MGM, usually cubs that you can cuddle too
    Pirate Battle @ Treasure Island

Also worth considering booking a trip to the Grand Canyon as well. You can get coach trips, which is a full day trip in baking heat or helicopter trips are £120ish/each. Good birthday pressie:confused:

Totally brilliant place and nowhere near as tacky as we thought it would be
