Have booked some time off work for the first week of Feb, and want to get a cheapo last minute hol. What's the best way of finding one? Anyone done it before? Any tips etc?

Teletext, Expedia, Lastminute.com?? Depends where you fancy going I guess but I reckon you could get a package holiday quite cheaply through most travel agents or tour operators Portland Direct is quite cheap

Not loving lastminute.com, seems to be the most expensive out of everything i've looked at so far.

They seem really good for holidays. They were the cheapest for Caribbean holidays that we were looking at.

Go on-line to Thomson.co.uk and get a quote for a holiday of your choice. Take the quote into one of their shops and they'll guarantee to beat it. They have a new promotion running at the mo! (Don't tell them your price until they've said how much they can do it for first though).

It's supposed to be getting colder there each year at this time, I've been for the past 8 years and every year the weather gets worse Still used to get a few decent days though but it's not like it used to be

go on teletext and look @ gran canaria is best this time of year i used to go every year for my birthday jan 30th so trust me it's great usually about 130/160 pp

We hit on with the weather, mind you yesterday it absolutly poured down - but we were coming home anyways so wasn't bothered. Was about the mid 20's most days.
