    Live Strong

Not sure if there has been a thread about these??

Has anyone noticed the 'Live Strong' bands the celebs and footballers are wearing.

For champion cyclist Lance Armstrong, a cancer survivor, yellow is more than just the color of the Tour de France's leader jersey. It's a symbol for hope, courage, and perseverance. In celebration of Armstrong, who has inspired millions of people to overcome adversity, Outside is working with NIKE to raise $6 million for the Lance Armstrong Foundation (LAF). This fundraising effort will help the Foundation to enhance the quality of life of young cancer patients and their families.

NIKE is leading the LAF fundraising project through the sale of five million yellow wristbands engraved with Lance's mantra, "Live Strong."

There is blue bands too for bullying- therse are easier to ge a hold off but the yellow ones are very hard to get a hold off as well as the red ones!

The pink one's are for breast cancer. Yellow for Leukaemia.
Not sure about the red one?? Any one know?

I was just wondering what ppl think about them, I have a blue one but want a yellow one but its relevant to me as my friend has just bn disgnosed with Leukaemia in October!

I cant seem to get a hold of the yellow one (well on Ebay but I never win the bid  )
