Liverpool? Might be off there in a few weeks. Just wanted to get advice off people who live/ lived there or have visited as to what are best places to eat/ places of interest etc?? Not really going for a lively weekend, just a touristy weekend of sight seeing and good grub Thanks
I was down last weekend and stayed in the Albert Docks, nice hotel! I recommend the lumpy football pitch and the floating bus! Its all building sites at the moment like
Re: Liverpool? I did my masters there last year and can say with some authority that it is a complete and utter disgrace to human civilization.. The people are horrible, the city is dirty and unattractive and the bars are poor with a few exceptions.. Capital of Culture 2008 my arse, even that's set to be cancelled unless they pull their heads/fingers out their arse. In a nutshell, don't waste your time.
