    goin for the train in a couple of hours like, quite looking forward to it like, nearly cried though this morning when said goodbye to my son, turning into a propper soft shite.. only goin away for a couple of days ffs! anyone one else with kids get to attatched??

    It must do, my bloke has gone soft (hmmm maybe i should re-phrase that!!) ... he still gets up in the middle of the night (rephrase again) to check on her, and she's 18 month old now!!!

    You can get the train for around £20 if you book in advance. Sure beats sitting on a smelly coach for six hours!

    I vowed never to travel by coach ever again after winning a coach trip to paris from newcastle

    7 hours to london, then another 10 odd hours to paris - It was hell.

    20 quid is an absolute bargain for the train, im used to paying 45-75 when i come up.
