we had rain for 2 days solid when alberto landed so we didn't go to typhoon lagoon or blizzard beach & we had to leave pleasure island so i could go to the dr's cos i got bit really bad by mossy's...my legs started swelling...

we also had to day's off to visit friends in hernando beach...went jet ski-ing in the gulf of mexico


our car was a crysler 2.4 litre turb convertible I WANT ONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

also held some guns...not loaded

will make you's all feel sick with a pic of my leg later

i wouldn't want to go into too much detail pet

i also did the worlds highest sling shot ( like a catapult bungy but you're not in a ball) 280 ft in the air when you're at the highest point

also did the worlds highest sky coaster....tis like a sky dive but only 300 ft up & you have to pull the rope to release yourselves...you then freefall 150 ft before you start swinging on a rope...

i don't get scared but that undid me big style...i was white & shaking when i came off that

sounds like fun

was fucking class....nearly ate a fly on the sling shot but was better than a bird

after we'd done the sky coaster saw some people just miss a bird on their way down

id be pertified im terrified of heights

that's why it undid me. up in a sleeping bag & then heading straight for some water...thought the rope wasn't going to tighten.... eeek

it had a half hr chuck down the 1st day we wre there & then rained when tropical storm alberto landed....thought it was going to become a hurricaine

Sounds like you had a mint time and also that you helped the miji population get rather fat . Your leg must have been quite bad to have to go to the docs ! Travel insurance cover it ?

when i went to florida ten years ago, i went the last week of may and the first two in june, and for the first few days there were some awesome storms!

typhoon lagoon had to be closed when i was there cos of the lightening

i'm going to try to claim but will have to pay part of it in excess....nurse mammy bladed the blisters yesterday & bandaged my legs so now i look like an extra from the mummy returns

1 blister got so big i named him fred my extra leg :sick:

was lucky that i didn't get bit too many times cos it could've been worse....went to the dr's cos the first aider at islands of adventure was concerned they were spider bites

it was pissing it down big style for 2 days....so we slept, watched t.v. (films) & read my book...

god was being far too loud when he was shifting his furniture

impressive thunder & lightening storms tho....Alberto was only 4 mph from being a hurricaine at 1 point
