    Thats what I was thinking.

Surely the best setup is to download tracks into the mixer from one pod?

And at least that way you could pitch/tempo bend instead.

The new version of my mixer has two soundcards built in - you just plug yer laptop in using USB cables :D

think your missing the entire point here ppl.

can you imagine the look on peoples faces when they came up with having 2 turntables when it all began? i can imagine it was exactly the same kind of reaction as having 2 ipods.

and 2 copies of the same music? i still do that now and im pretty sure im not the only one! ask any hip hop dj how many times he has doubles of the same vinyl - so that would be the same kinda thing me thinks :)

at the end of the day, it looks like its been developed for the hobby/wannabie dj, nothing at any kind of professional level, more like a novelty toy imo

just more people trying to rape the ipod cash camel i reckon

    :D

yeah, i have a few copies of the same tracks and i know DJs do it that way - but this is digital media - so u can use TECHNOLOGY to do the legwork. Carrying 2 ipods makes no sense! I bet these DJ's only carry 1 laptop though.

Having some kind of memory (like CDJs do) to load the track onto different channels makes more sense...

But i suppose if it's in production then someone must be stupid enough to go buy 2 ipods, duplicate there music collection onto devices that don't allow them to change pitch or anything...
