Always been v.sceptical about MAW - thought they were very much over-hyped

    but.....

........Louie Vega was awesome on Sat - probs one of the best DJs I've ever seen nd defo the best in ages!!!

With it being a Studio54 night, last tune was only ever gonna be Donna Summer 'I Feel Love' but the way he kept bringing the bassline in and out was

    Anybody else go?

Was there much of a 'club-style' atmosphere or was it still just like a bar with a late license

It was really clubby - much darker than normal, defo louder, v.sweaty and the even the tri-hards coudnt resist dancing. The DJ booth was in a totally different place aswell - facing down onto downstairs.

Can't really picture that. You can't really see upstairs from downstairs can you

Nah not really like - all their tunes seem to be little more than 'beat tools'. They seem to get loads of exposure though which Im not sure they really deserve.

I've never understood why the decks face onto the side of the DJ booth rather than towards the bulk of the crowd
