M8 Review of Promise Just found an old M8 (Aug/2001) mag in my draw at work, it has a 2 pages of photos of Promise & a little write up. The night was when Sasha played with his sidekick James Zabelia & on the photos I dont recognise anyone at all. Also looking at the pics it seems there were MORE good looking birds back then than the currently go to Promise now.
I went to that, was a really good night as well! Promise used to be the fit chick mecca of newcastle Zabiela was so, so good it was unreal!

Nah he's Sasha's sidekick really, Zabiela gave him a tape when he saw him in a club and it snowballed from there. He's playing Sapce when i'm out in ibiza in september! Oh sneaks on as well
He was Muziks first or second big Bedroom Bedlam winner to make the A grade (Yousef was the other, can't rememebr who won it first though), anyway he was booked to play with Sasha on the Airdrawndagger tour and was taken under his wing a bit. Amazing DJ - all sorts of tricks and a unique style.
He was deffo Sasha boy but I am sure Diggers would have helped his old mate Sasha in bringing the chosen 1 to the fore front of the DJ world.
I luckily got backstage at last years SSS and pissed myself laughing at watching him fall off the Bedrock bus whilst Sasha and Diggers rocked it. He seems to be taking after the great one in more ways than one - they were all trollied.
