Man charged over brutal rape death

A 21-year-old Asian man has been charged with the murder of 16-year-old Mary-Ann Leneghan in Reading.
Jamaile Morally from Balham in south London, is also charged with the attempted murder and rape of Mary-Ann's friend and the abduction of both girls.

Mary-Ann's body was found in Prospect Park on Saturday. Her 18-year-old friend was shot.

According to police the girls were chatting in the car park of the Wallingford Arms, a disused pub near their homes, on Friday 6 May when they were forced into a car.

They were taken to the Abbey House Hotel, in Connaught Road, where it is alleged they were injected with Herion and sexually assaulted over a period of several hours.

Mary-Ann was stabbed in the neck and her friend shot in the head.

Both girls were left for dead in the park.

most of the horrible crimes being commited and shown on the news do seem to be by asians though. For some reason the asian gangs are the ones you mainly hear about who are stabbing, shooting and killing people.

I'm not questioning that there is a problem with asian gangs...

but none of us know anything about this trial as very little has been released... so I'm telling you to keep your offensive right wing views out of it.

its like the number 56/54 whatever it was... once you're aware of something you notice it.

try watching out for white crimes - you'll notice almost all the crimes are now commited by whites.. you can apply this to most large demographics.

Regardless who carried out this abhorrent act.....whatever race, creed, colour, or religion they are.........should really be strung up!

What sort of society do we live in where we nurture our children such that they turn into people that could do these things?

Who cares if the guilty party is Asian? Who cares if he's white?

Maybe my feelings are a bit draconian, but I say bring back capital punishment for crimes like this.
What deterrents do we have in place that (really) put criminals off doing what they do? NONE!!

I think that the families of the victims should have the say on what the ultimate punishment should be.
Give them a list of options and let them choose.

I cannot begin to imagine how the family feels, but I have a little lad and I KNOW that if anyone hurt him, I'd be hunting for them!:evil:

People used to actually be afraid of committing crimes for fear of the consequences!! Not no more.....

Its a case of 'if' i get caught, and i dont go down for pleading this that and the other/sentence reduced. Worst case scenario is I end up inside... where I have every need catered for, Career guidance and reintroduced into society afterwards... :evil:
