    Massive fire down the Quayside

    Apparently.

Fire crews have been called to a building undergoing conversion in the centre of Newcastle .
The blaze is believed to be at the Bonded Warehouse, opposite the Copthorne Hotel on the Quayside.

The Tyne and Wear Fire Service says that crews are currently on their way to the scene.

The incident is affecting traffic in a busy area of the city centre, with Forth Banks shut from the junction with the Close.

    Fire disrupts city centre traffic

A fire in the centre of Newcastle is casting a cloud of smoke over the city and disrupting traffic.

Six fire crews are fighting the blaze at the Bonded Warehouse, where building work is being carried out, opposite the Copthorne Hotel on the Quayside.

The incident means roads in the area of the Quayside have been closed.

Metro stops at Monument and Central Station were closed for a time due to heavy smoke, with trains passing through but not stopping.

I think she means a company job?

Was it the Bonded Warehouse? I thought that was opposite the courts next to the theatre?
