Meat Katie I think that's the right name... Do they DJ or just produce? Fucking banging quality tunes anyways. Any info appreciated, preferably not the know it all Allie style.
Re: Meat Katie DJ/producer, hard ass tech-house/breaks. Personal fav of mine. he co-produced with Dylan Rhymes on Blue Black records, really dark tough stuff. Check out his album Beyond the Darkness Fav Tunes Cum shot and K-Hole, most of his breaks stuff is on kingsize records. I have them all
Re: Re: Meat Katie My brother has been playing there stuff for ages and has been telling me it goes down very well. Would be good at the dig as a warm up for Howells or Lawler or someone similar. Cheers mate, good info. I'll check the link spiral
Re: Re: Meat Katie Get's a bit tedious though mate, especially the Amy stuff and the love for deep deep house.
Re: Re: Re: Meat Katie What 'Amy stuff'? I admit I'm a cunt with my music, I'm also passionate about it though, and like to voice my opinions when I think other things are shit I don't think I excessively talk about Amy though :spangled: Few things here and there as a joke, like the one you quoted yesterday, but nothing excessive. Move on with your life
Re: Re: Re: Re: Meat Katie Nae bother mate, wasn't meant as a personal dig. I'd love to see them play Spence.
Re: Re: Re: Meat Katie no worries m8, it's all dark stuff some of quite hard. the stuff done with Dylan Rhymes is just plain dirty throbbing tech-house.
Re: Re: Re: Re: Meat Katie thats what im talking about i'll keep a look for this guy cos that sounds right up my street although im new to the 'house' scene. got any pointers for really good heavy tech house mate?
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Meat Katie more than I could list. check out blue black records, kingsize, Shine, Royal Drums, End, sondos, Pias, Purpose records. all mint check out the likes of Phil Kieran Meat Katie Dhylan Rhymes Tony Thomas Alan Barrat Supergroove Angoria all top quality stuff.
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Meat Katie You'd love the likes of Clive Henry, even Craig Richards and Lee Burridge mate.
Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: Meat Katie Clive Henry and Justin drake are Peace Division mint. The stuff they put out as quite funky/minimal and down tempo compared to Meat Katie and Dylan Rhymes. Some of the stuff I have that they have done had almost a speed garage bass line, sounds great on a big system. Real bass driven peak time stuff check out Dylan Rhymes & Meat Katie-Body Shock Dylan Rhymes & Meat Katie-3 penny touch Dylan Rhymes - thunderdub Dylan Rhymes - compression chamber Meat Katie - K hole ( elite force mix ) peak time stuff
burridge is class. even when i wasnt into it i still liked mr burridge. nice chap too. always of his box like
yeah he's class, plays quite a bit of breaks never really heard him play really hard though would really love to see him go for it
Best I've seen him was in space a few years ago totally wired playing with Craig Richards on Sasha's birthday. They played the last 3-4 hrs and went for it then. Played some wicked acid house stuff. I don't think he could see the first mix though, :spangled:, Craig richards baby sat the first 1/2 hr
im well into Meat katie got quite a few of the tunes, if you like him look at Koma & Bones... similar style tuff dark breaks
