Boro got him because Lazio who paid $30 mill for him, think he is shit, Barca who had on loan last year think he is shit, no club in Spain wants him, he is no longer a Spic international. So he has joined Boro on a season long loan deal, this will help him get his fitness back & at the end of the season he will move to a bigger club than Boro, I think the term we use for this is 'doing a Geremi'.
Cracking player - had an immense time at Valencia and a good world cup for Spain as well. Probably another Geremi though - amazing season and end up at Chelsea.
