You could go bin diving for a ticket that was roughly around the time you decided not to pay and took the risk and got caught and say you couldnt find your ticket at the time but here it is now.

this lad that lived round the corner from me used to get his mam to phone up the metro and go off it saying he wasnt even there and they have given a false name and adress and that it has been happening loads. then they started taking detailed descriptions of the people!

Appeal to IPFAS and that should give you more time. The address for them is on your pink slip. I never pay, its cheaper getting caught once in a while.

    I play tactically.

Yep, they were the exact same tactics I used to use. Getting off at Haymarket, Jesmond etc, get a ticket.

Travelling home at night, fuck that.

It is utterly beyond me why they don't put up ticket barriers like we have in London. They would probably pay for themselves within a week!

yeah but you could just hop over them.

What really fucks me off about the metro is the fact that they don't give change for even a fiver. the tickets are usually 2/3 quid.

Yeah i hate the fact that there is no note slot and i also hate the fact that the machines are absolutely gash and often dont accept coins

missed the bloody train the other day cos of it

i go all the way from Ilford road to Sunderland so had a student pass

just buying return tickets at the minute though

id pay the fine straight away

how can an appeal to give you more time to pay £20 even be considered??
