New mix from me eventually from our christmas party. just uploading it now so i'll update the thread once its finished.
Apologies for the mix into underworld, as soon as jimmy heard the vocals he was jumping all over me back and trying to press the delay on the mixer, hence the fact you can hear a double beat, lol. Then again that was after about 15 bottles of stella
its a nice listen for anybody interested and features three tracks from my label which got a fantastic reaction im glad to say.
Anybody with a slow connection drop me a line and i'll sort you out a cd.

Ozgur Can - Irony (Lost Language)
Deepsky Feat Jes - Ghost (Release)
    Modehookers - Breathe (Armind)
Greyarea - Gravity (Albatross remix) (Hope Records)
Soldout vs Nova - Maybe Tommorow (Bonzai)
Underworld - 2 Months off (Rework) CDR

ive never heard the original of luminary, but wasnt too keen on smith & pledger's "trance-by-numbers" effort.... fairly boring imo

Give this a full listen through again, an alright mix really, found the prog in the first half hr a bit boring, bit of a waste of the first half hr, imo.... and theres a horrible key clash on 44 mins after which the track totally kills the little bit energy youd built up

when it picks up after that its champion

Looking forward to the icone release though :)

(Looking back that sounds harsh but no point lying)

yeh totally, i cant be arsed to sit down and work out the keys for my records, trial and error i suppose, over time you get a nack of what fits and what doesnt in yr record box....and of course if yr live like mkx was here yr under a bit more pressure so key clashes and corrections on transitions can be excused i suppose :D

judge jules wont cause he just lines up the start of one record with the end of the other

tiesto's phrasing is alright and i can imagine he'd be the sort to do that

with producing if somethings out of key then you can correct and no-one need ever know! you can play around but when your in the box and you realise its out of key, there fuck all you can do apart from carry on

best way is to sit down with a cheap keyboard and go through your records

Cheers for the comments. tbh it aint half as good as my usual stuff, im not to fond of it tbh, but thought i'd share it anyways. as for the first hour, im hardly gonna play a full on trance set after a breaks dj, called building a set.

New infrasonic volume should hopefully be up this week when i find time to mix it. :)

aye i didnt say you should play full on trance after a breaks dj, i just didnt like the prog that you used to build the set up with, its probs more down to personal opinion though, prog is a funny thing - most of the tracks out now you either love or hate - dont take it personally or anything it werent a dig :D
