Mobile Phones And Their Shit Battery Life

In spite of technology moving on, is it just me, or do batteries on phones last fuck all time these days.

Anticipating I would be arsed one day over the bank holiday weekend to take my Sony Ericsson K700i to get fixed as the joystick is fucked, I stuck my simcard in my old Nokia somthing-or-other on Friday.



Although not actually my phone but same type and colour, the battery is still going (4 days on) and is still half-full!!! I can barely get 48 hours out of the Sony.

I dunno whether I'm more gutted about carting about (and getting out) such a shit phone or secretly I'm grinning because I don't have to charge the bastard up coz I'm a lazy twat!

i think sony ericsons last for ages cos they hav that power save on.

i put my phone on charge every night as i am goin to bed anyway so it si neva flat.

my screens gone on me 7610 and that is the same phone ive got

different colour though

battery life is nearly 3 days

K700i's have terrible battery life. The new K750i is much better. Mine can last for about a week now....

motorolas batt life is terrible, a ,lot worse than nokias

My nokia 6230i has canny pap battery life, reason being is not letting the battery run fully down before charging it again, also not charging it for full 16hrs when you first get it, this is the case with most phones that have pap battery life

That nokia doesnt need to use anywhere near as much power as most of the newer phones as it doesn't the features to drain the battery, ie, a camera, bluetooth, mp3 player etc etc.

yup the 700i is fucking awful for battery life and my mate just got the 750 and has said that he gets a week out of it too.

does that not weigh you down Luke whilst Carrying it

To be fair though look at all the stuff your battery has got to run now, video, 2 mega pixels camera colour tft, mp3s, fucking shit loads.

Also remmeber only charge your phone when the battery goes dead otherwise it fuckes the battery and the standby time gets shorter and shorter everytime you charge it.

when you first get the phone are you not supposed to run the battery right down to nothing a few times, im sure i read somewhere that the phone battery has a memory ????????

When my motarola broke I had to use this bad boy too

i never have a problem with this as i refused to buy a phone that does anything other than cals and texts my £20 specials have excellent battery life..... 5 days easy as long as i havent hammered it

you techno slaves need to check your priorities....... phone performance or the latest gadget ???

latest gadgets all the way, mine phone aint to bad anyway it can last up three days without charge, unless I'm trying to record an hour long video then it kinda goes tits up.
