    Moral dilemma

person A lent his 'mate' person B £550 nearly two years ago and got 300 back after a couple of months. He hasn't seen any of the rest of it since and despite assuances from person B when he sees him when he goes home for the hols, is begining to suspect that he dont wanto give the other 250 back! o

However person A has slyly copied down the bank card details of person B when he wasn't looking and will now be able to pay his credit card off on the internet with it!! Should person A do this seeing as person B will have got his loan last week, or is this just illegal and morally wrong and will person A end up being arrested?!!!! What do you think about this hypothetic :spangled: question??:

ps by the way threning behaviour is not an answer as person B is about 75.8 times the size of personA!!!

pps no comments saying how dum:dunce: person A is-they are already aware!!

Person B could, if he was particulary nasty/resentful enough, go to the police and grass you up for theft and/or fraud i reckon. you could always 'threathen' to nick the money from his account, see what his reaction is.

atleast at the moment, you're on the side of 'good', you won't have any receipts or owt so u can't prove anything to police - if you steal the money off him, you're breaking the law which is a whole other problem.

by the way u will def be in the wrong if u use his bank details without him knowing, and without a doubt risk prosecution… get the money back legally…

    in my lil magic office....
I have been in a similar situation in which Person B has owed my as much as £600 at some point over the last year and this person hasn't shown a great deal of enthusiasm about paying it back at times. As it happens earlier on in the year he did pay a good chunk of it back but for the last couple of months has gone into "it's on its way" mode again.

Being fucked around with money, especially a lot of money, is not on.

BUT neither is stealing. And stealing is stealing. Just coz someone treats you like shit doesn't mean you have to drop to their level.

Shitty situation to which I can totally relate....I hope your mates get it sorted out....

    sounds very nasty...

the best advice I can give is to wait and see what happens... If person B doesn't give back the money, then person A should throw balloons filled with dog urine at him at every available opportunity :p

on the serious side, regardless of whether he pays it back or not, person A should never lend person B any money on that scale again.

    Regards

    Phil

What if I've recorded him using a dictofone type thing where he admits it?!!

Also i'm not sure if he would tell the police as we're still kinda in the same group of mates when I go home from uni and the rest of our mates would probably find it amusing and tell hime not to

yes i am the :dunce: :dunce: :dunce: person A BTW if it wasn't obvious!
