    More fuel/resources/earth issues and tellys

    a recent survey out called 'Rise of the machines' has commented on how consumer usage of our resources will grow significantly with the advancement in technology :

    For example - Plasma TVs use 4 TIMES more electricity than a standard cathode ray tude TV - 4 TIMES MORE?!?! thats quite a lot on your bill, never mind across a country.

    what with the North Sea Gas fields past their best and our growing need to import gas, it's looking decidedly dodgy. Plus, the more 'labour saving' gadgets people buy, the worse it's going to get, and thats before u add in the growth in population - it's a bleak future unless something changes....

    bet the bigger they are the more they use to, might get another one so i can use them as radiators to save money on the heating bill.
