You are invited to join us for the launch night of what is guaranteed to become a Newcastle Nightlife Institution.

Starting at 3am and finishing at 10am, MORNING SICKNESS is the first true afterhours club in Newcastle. The opening night will feature a soundtrack provided by some of the biggest hitters in the Newcastle scene.

Expect dark, intelligent beats swaying between the Deep, Minimal and Wonky sounds of Techno/House/Electro and all that is good in modern cutting edge electronic music.

Our opening night sees the decks under the command of the ERROR_ DJs Binni & Scot Nicolson plus a few of their friends.

ERROR_ has recently established itself as the Friday night party to watch out for in 2008. Since moving to the Cosmic Ballroom they've played host to Magda in one of her only 2 UK appearances for 07 (the other being at Fabric!), brought the Berlin sounds of Kiki to Newcastle & are about to welcome techno legend -Konrad Black (Wagon Repair) - to play his first ever Newcastle gig on Fri Feb 15th, as well as earning themselves a well earned reputation as awesome DJs in their own right

We're providing top DJs at the only afterhours club in town.

Myself and Binni arent running this.... Just been asked to dj at it so helping out with promo abit... Its the guys from Nice who are running it. There will be different dj's from different nights each week... Should be very messy!!

so in theory if i went to digital or cosmic ballroom nd left at closing time at 4ish? got sum food nd had a bit of a wander round like you always end up doing cud i then go to gossip and still get in or do you have to get there at like 3ish?

You can wander in anytime you like...! There should be people on the door pretty much all night...

Nah its not Me & Scot organising this, more of a 'consultation' role. Musically it should be kept in the right direction with us two appearing quite often.

Alot of it is still up in the air but we are doing our best to help out with promo & advice.

Its just what Newcastle needs!

You can be anything you want to be...no door policy....within reason!

ah thats ok then. as long as the doorman have the sense to weed out the cowied digital radgies this should be well fun

I think I'll be playing at some point, not sure how often, see how it pans out.

I did have a look at getting involved before christmas when it first opened as an inhouse thing by the powerhouse lot, but they were playing scouse house nonsense so I didn't really see me getting involved working too well.

when I was speaking to a man about a man who owned a dog before xmas , this guy associated with the new management asked me if I had heard of a guy called gav who ran freaky

I told said guy that this gav was a good guy who knew what he was doing

I think the guy was bang up for giving you friday afters
