Movie reviews in association with gravy!

I'm suddenly getting into my movies a lot more these days. Be good to know what's crap and what's good. Put your reviews here.

I watched a couple this week. Mona Lisa Smile - Really boring. Very girly. Not a very exciting plot.

Van Helsing - Well made movie - Tons of effects - Don't really understand why Dracula, Frankenstein and the Wolfman were all brought together for a film - Kate Beckensale: Watch her run. She's obviously never ran 2 yards in her life. Looks silly, but still damn sexy.

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind is very good. Great story, well written, and very well made. Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet are brilliant! Defo worth going to see!

Is Van Helsing not just one big piss take!:D What a total no brainer - what the fuck was going on with the plot - use sparky Frankenstine to "power up" thousands of little green gremalins:crazy:  It's so bad it's good...well kind of...mebies a bit:p

Action all the way through though, $200 million it cost for this - crazy:shock:

I, ahem, did jump in ma seat twice though:oops:

Van Helsing fans can rejoice at "Van Helsing: The London Assignment" - animated prequel to the Van Hellsing movie. Hugh Jackman's character van Hellsing travels to London to deal with the mischievious Dr. Jeckyll.

There's already talk of a sequal - HJ and SS are under contract, and the monsters for the next...the Fish-Man from "Creature of the Black Lagoon" and the Invisible Man! mint!:D
