You do have to know exactly what your looking for and the various stages cos some are similar, but the very similar ones arent deadly, they're just small mushrooms

Buy a book on mushrooms and read up on the different wild ones so that you know your at least not going to kill yourself

well I did that but there seemed to be loads that look really similar
