new job winds me up this i currently sell home insurance and other gi regulated shit, few of us put in for a financial planning managers job which was a shite sighte better in terms of pay than what im on now, anyways we hear fuck all about the job and how we got on and all around us complete retards were being offered interviews even tho thyre gash at their current job, i dont wanna sound cocky or owt but im alot better basically and have a much better knowledge of the products and services that go with them. i got a call today asking i i wanted it no questions i could just have it but the catch is id be on the same payscale as im on now, and from the sounds of it id be doing the same job as the tards, is that shit legal? same job same responsibilities completely different pay packet, theres a union rep ill be visiting on monday like, got me pissed off

I work in Newcastle city centre but they have a big branch in Sunderland city centre too. You normally start off doing mortgages and life insurance/sickness/unemployment blah blah blah and then lead on to do investment and pension stuff it;s alright, good bonuses if you can hit targets

Yeah, I understood. My point is, so what? They can pay who they want what they want. Doesn't matter if you're doing the same job, as long as there aren't grounds for discrimination like sex or race then it doesn't matter.
Any employer who wants to do that aint worth working for. I'd say you should just leave and go elsewhere for more money, rather than get annoyed at the place your working at. After all, its in the Company's best interests to get as much out of you as possible while paying you the least amount as possible to get that - all is fair in love, war and business eh
The pay maybe taking into account experience and qualifications. They may have also changed the starting wage for that job, but they cant lower the others wages who already do the job. New starters at my place get a few grand less than me a year because they dropped the starting wage down.
nah theres a retard straight from school got it, hes been here 6 months and is part time, me mate penfold has forgot more about the bank than most people will ever know and hes in the same boat as me, middle management are all homs and the retards been on all fours, im using that as an excuse until i find a better one the jobs brand new, aint even starting up until february
