New Plastic Fantastic record shop opening in Newcastle

    New Plastic Fantastic record shop opening in Newcastle

    I just found out that there's a new record shop opening in Newcastle next Friday (9th April) on Nun Street, above the Transit Skateboard shop, opposite Reflex.

    Just been talking to the owners and apparently it's a subsidiary of Plastic Fantastic.

    Good news for vinyl lovers in the toon! :D

    Cheers, I used to buy a bit from there a few years back. I'm sure if you ask them to get certain stuff in they will.

    Yeah I bumped into him briefly popped down on my lunch to see if my mixer was in yet...jon sent me a txt to say it came in 5 seconds after i went back to work! :( :p

    All the genres are completely mixed up but they do actually get a load of stuff which HMV dont

    They get good trance promo's and are pretty good for buying stylus etc.

    That is because people don't put them back in the right sections! :p

    Personally I like Global I like Jon and Dave and even tho I have only ever bought about 3 records from them (they get hardly any good techno) I enjoy popping in for the crack.

    be gutted to see global close both the lads are sound its just the owner.......he dont pay the bill's so they dont get stock, WANKER:evil:

    Good news about the new record store though, if its half as good as plastic fantastic then i'll be there weekly!!! :D
