Newcastle Should have a Music Festival!

I think Newcastle Should have a music festival in the summer and allow djs to play in exhibation park when the love parade got canceled!.(There was no trance played i went down when i was 15) Should have sections like trance and house and have a rock stand for the yindie's. I am pissed off because newcastle doesnt have these events what you see in europe. If they want capital of culture award they have to pull off these events.
Canceling the love parde back in 2001 was a mistake!(just down to the police objecting towards it!)

it would be a perfect opportunity to allow other countries to test their nuclear bombs!

And then we can collect all the energy released from the bombs to power the country! Marvellous - kills several birds with one stone! :D

I dont mind long as people are dancing and getting high!.
Actually they should lay on a seperate event for "charvas" in a different park! Happy Hardcore section!

We run the dance stage, and have done for the past 5/6 years....

It plays a mix from hip hop through electro/breaks through to techno, with a mix of live acts and djs from Newcastle's clubland (no big names) - no trance I'm afraid, but it's always a class day out.

There's also dub type stuff, world music and loads of funk type bands, plus a few hippy type bands.

If you want to get involved - give us a yell, always looking for new people :)
