Nick Warren Fucking absolutely destroyed Shindig. I wanted to see Hernan Cattaneo, Pappa and Warren and now I've seen them all before the end of the year. Good work Shindig lads. Got to be the most Trancey sets I've seen in there, not as many people out as I expected mind. Can anybody tell me what track this was, played towards the end. I periodicaly watch this video I found and it's made me desperate to do The Glade at Glasto next year. Went to get a water refill last night and it was half way through when I got back. Absolute tune. http://youtube.com/watch?v=J8OY69A60DY Also Nick Warrens last track, started off breaky then turned into a bit of another driving trance track. Souded like old Way Out West most likely, anyone got any ideas? Get the fuck in. So glad I saw Warren.
Its Yeke Yeke Rossy Totally class tune. If i remember rightly the Gatecrasher fire started boxing day 2001 when Scott Bond played it at Red & Black 1 and totally slaughtered the place to a crumble.
Good work John. Such an absolute tune. Oh and also, Vinny would have been gutted, I can't believe he missed this. He played Breeder - the Chain. Not to mention Panoptic - Surface. Full on driving progressive trance/trance fest, and it still destroyed Shindig. Got to love it when that happens.
Intrested to here a set from Nick Warren. I quite like the house-trance cross over style (lol if that makes any sense). Most Discover djs canned Yeke Yeke last year like, think its a different mix that they play tho.
That'll be Ali Wilson "Yeke Teke" Askew rework. Slightly different to the hardfloor remix The hardfloor mix is wicked though, proper classic. Tulip used to hammer it in Promise in the early days
Would have loved to have been able to go to this!!! He's on at turnmills loads, i dont know what my excuse is not to go - for shame.
