yeah, he did. I went nuts as well, so much so that i got a big bruise on the back of my hand from where my watch kept slapping into it.

I enjoyed your set a lot more tho....jeff was good...but not as good as you.

And the whole VJ'ing malarky, what a ponce. PLayed a few scenes from his DVD and thats all.

Considering the hype set up around him, he was. I was expecting a lot more having heard the extra gear he wanted, and the reputation he had.

Mind you at the beginning when there was music playing but no visible DJ, I thought he might be playing in the backroom or a prerecorded set. Fucking dumbass. :dunce: :bang:

IMO the night was still the best disco noir to date tho.

Not that big a fan of Jeff Mills from sets I've heard in the past but he was a lot better than I'd expected- only a few dodgy mixes.
Not as good a night as when Dave Clarke was on though.

I didnt make it to the dave clarke one, but this was better than the slam/funk d'void event.

I quite liked the bit towards the end when they had the video of the two dudes up on the screens on the drum machines+synths doing a tune on the fly.

    Very cool.

I thought Mills was excellent. Really good at keep bringing it down then building it back up again. Hardly knew any tunes but he had the club going mental at times.
The warm up was excellent too. Loads of variation in it which kept it really interesting without burning the crowd out. Hadnt heard Continuous Cool - Automatic for a while.
