Non dance Is anyone getting more and more into it? I've always had a passion for hip hop, mod rock and swing music... but lately I've been listening to all sorts (from my usual who collection to united states of whatever) I'm defo going to start going to more varied night... anyone going to any of the following: ANY LOCAL ELECTROCLASHNIGHT Newcastle's Brighton Beach The real Brighton Beach Turbulance Can anyone recommend any decent alternative nights (anything @ all that aint really dance) that are on locally any night bar friday?
i like eating out more than clubbing @ the moment! jambon is doin an electro night soon.....so u could go to that.... u have mentioned most of the good nights.... my mates go to sattlight quite alot for beats and breaks and stuff.... the boat on a monday!!!! we should all go one week...it would be funny.
lol, last time i was on the boat it wasnt bad actually! they had a guy playin sax... n i love the sound of sax... shame downstairs they were playing lasgo
the sax is by far the best instuments so relaxing be over funky house, jazz or gerry rafferty mmmmmm I'll put the word on the street revel.
Well, if ya's are goin on a nite when the sax dude is on - give me a shout... (if im invited) i would go to see him again :groovy:
been there done that and 1 of the paid dancers thought was challenging her so started spinning and stuff. I winked n walked off :d it'll happen this time u watch
Theres a night through in Sunderland that I've dj-ed at a few times that regularly has a sax-guy jamming with the more funky dj's they have on. If fact Iain Burns, who's in the final on Friday, has a night on the 2nd Thursday of every month at Satelite (called 'Looseheads') and he was trying to get the sax-man to come down and play at his night soon. And has anyone ever heard any Kool Keith?? He rapped on the Prodigy's 'Diesel Power'. His album 'Dr. Octagon' is one of my top 5 albums of all time.
I'll have a word with him 2morrow find out the crack Ultrmagnteic mc's are fucking superb - course I lurve kool keith
