underground nuclear testing ... yeah lets ruin the planet from the inside out as weve allready fucked the atmosphere nw lets make the ground glow green !

There are meetings between the chinese and south korean government happening now , Given that the chinese are usually north koreas biggest ally its a clear indication that the chinese wont stand for it . America will have there say soon as well , problem is this could be the excuse Dubya has been waiting for !

Crazy shit happening these days

It's not an ICBM though, it was an underground nuclear explosioin, which is scary enough but still a long way from having nuclear ICBM

north korea have been isolated since independence... which is why international pressure means nothing.

they've faced international pressure since conception and no one can do a thing about it...

Its a sorry state of affairs. Will probably cause a ripple effect in the region where other countries may try and develop a nuclear program for thier own defence. Scary stuff

Don't N.Korea rely heavily on aid from the UN and other countrys? And apparently the government have been using the food aid to feed there army

Why dont the UN and other countrys just stop all aid,

Then they would get accused of being responsible for the starvation of thousands of people.

Its impossible to wage war on a country directly these days eh.

Governments are such fannys, just do it and teach N. Korea a lesson!!

If we don;t do something the governments will be responsible for the deaths of millions when N. Korea start setting nukes off left right and centre

Not everyones opinion is the same though (mine is btw) But a lot of politicians would trust them. Basically they COULD quite possibly start a third world war over this.

they wont be far atall from having an icbm, once you have technology to make the explosion you can add it to existing missile technologies which pyong yang already possess,
