Not eating ....

Do you ever go through phases of not eating? I dont mean of the weekend variety!

OK so lets say you have a friend who usually eats like a horse, will finish theirs, yours and whoever elses food is knocking about ......

...... and then they start having problems eating :spangled: Like not having anything for days not even wanting anything ... and when trying to have say just a slice of toast it takes them a good while to actually pick it up and then they have a battle with themself to actually take a bite :spangled:

Would you say thats a start of a problem?

is there any reason why she mite not b eating, ie if she finished with her bf or is upset or stressed by anything?

if nothin has changed in her life and she started doin that then sounds like a problem.

I go through phases of not eating all the time..

Not even when I have a problem or anything, just have weekends where I'm not at all hungry and if I try to eat I really can't manage a big portion, but don't feel sick or anything.

Though I make up for it by eating LOADS other weeks/weekends.

I went through a stage like that at the beginning of this year! Stuff happened and i was total down, head up me arse all the time

I just couldn't eat anything, for about 2 month i don't think i had one proper day of meals!

Yeah when you end a relationship or have been dumped it has happened so if that's the case then yeah it's normal. Dont' worry bout it.

There is things going on and they're down a lot of the time but for them to not eat ..... well! They've already lost weight aswell.

In that case that person needs help and should seek medical advice, but if there's a reasdon for her not eating then as a friend you should ram it down her throat!

This person is very distructive to themselves, Im thinking this is another way of beating themself down
