Unreal, iv'e got right back into them the past few months, were going to to Sheffield to see them next Friday - CANT FUKIN WAIT!!

Bit gutted there whole tour is named 'Academy Invasion' but Newcastle seems to have been missed out, would loved to have seen them up here

Im well impressed with their new album, there doing the Electric Proms this year also which will be good to watch with a full Orchestra behind them.

Me & John were just on youtube the other day watching them live from Knebworth in 1996 - JESUS WEPT

Aye its dissapointing like, they probably don't want to do a smaller gig in newcastle because the last one they did back in the early 90's at the theatre down on the quayside, a bloke jumped on stage and smashed noel right in the dish, they got chased out the gig!

They've played the Arena since then tho, its a shame as it would have been amazing, not to mention on our doorstep.

(That story is terribly btw, who the fuck does that)

Aye its a joke, was one of their very early gigs i think.
The arena gigs were immense, so the atmosphere at the academy would be top draw. It was like the kasabian gigs, i preferred them at the academy than the arena.

I'm sure I read somewhere that the date(s) Oasis gave to the arena were already taken by some kind of exhibition and they were unwilling to change the dates to accomodate them!!!

I am going to see them twice this month, next weekend with the lads and then 3 weeks after in Belfast wi me g/f.

I have now completed my album collection as well as of today n what got delivered bar the new one which i have just waxed £50 on a boxed set n vinyl and book/dvd collectors pack from the Oasis site.

I am gonna probably buy all the singles as well from all there previous albums on CD to add to the collection.

For me best band in the world and by far the best band of my generation.

I'll dab MD to that mate.

The new album is fucking class. I've seen them before (at the Arena) but I'm well psyched for this one.

Not sure what I think of the new album, nothings stuck in my head too much so far apart from "heeby geebys" and that was only because I hate that saying.
