One thing you'd like to do...

    before you die.

Assuming everyone will grow to be at least moderately successful in their professional life and have some kind of family and social life, so those things aside, what one thing would you like to do before you die?

I think mine would be to go hand-gliding or parachuting. Basically something that involves falling out the sky from some huge height. Maybe even learn to fly!

Couple of things that are near the top of the list, but not quite as exciting: stay in the ice hotel in Lapland one xmas; visit an active volcano; and maybe drive a rally car.

    Anyone else?

I've done paragliding - like hang-gliding but a bit more chilled. I would definitely recommend it!

I would like to go on safari - planning it for about two years from now.

not really mate, cos you dont need hotels. if you plan it properly you can visit campsites etc, to use showers and that. if you dont mind being dirty for a couple of days you'll be fine, it'd be a right laugh. I'd probably stay in a coupel of hotels for a few nights in New york and LA but thats it. take about a month off work. it'd be shit hot

frenchy - when we become friends we'll go together, we'll be like thelma and louise:wink:

Random, I've been looking into skydiving today on the google, I'm thinking about getting involved in a charidee one if your up for it?

That aside I want to walk the Pyranees, learn to sail/windsurf, cycle across France to the south west and go boarding in Chile..

I also want to play a part in voluntary career related pressure/research/advisory panels..

    of course

one day i shall do it, life is for living, im sick of sitting at this pc doing fuck all:oops:  .

surely it wouldnt cost that much, hiring a camper van for a month, gasoline doesnt cost much over there and you wouldnt need much spending money. I might plan it and do it in about 2 years time.:D
