I lived in Leeds for a year and I wouldnt dream of walking around alone on an evening even if it was light, yet when I lived in Spital Tongues I used to regularly walk home by myself wrecked from Digital without thinking about it. I used to live in Headingley and when the students went home for xmas every and I mean every single house on our street got proper ransacked there wasnt a single electrical item left.

i have often walked from town to throckley at 3 or 4 in morning either thru scotchy or along west road ne trouble at, leeds i got taxi from club to hotel 2 min walk, man(scum)chester my pal got bottled out side hotel cos he wudnt hand over fone propa shit some cities

i feel safe in stanley..not that safe in brixton and croydon areas and other such like communtiys

dont be daft leeds is tame as fuck. especially headingley. i once walked back from headingley throught hyde park and woodhouse at 4am. not a soul.

london, brum, manchester, notts........those are dodgy........well dodgy

Some of them "tramps" can be handy the ones in Liverpool were anyway, we bought supplies off them as we went on to afterhours @ the G-Bar.

Headingley is tame as fuck agreed, was just using that to outline how bad burglary was in the area. Theres no way Id be walking round Leeds city centre on my own at night though.

Really never seen it myself in the few times I have ben down there.

budapest was the worst place ive had to endure, harsh as fuck over there

me mate went down to brum to meet up with a holiday romance, he got a taxi to the city centre but due to some bad traffic the driver took a de-tour thru some residentials, the boy was beside himself

Newcastle has a higher murder rate per head of population than London.

Small towns like North Shields etc are much more dodgy than big cities.

Never had any hassle when walking through town.

My mate was telling me when he was in Sao Paulo he was walking down this street with his pal, they were the only 2 white people on a really busy street full of black brazilians, there was police on every corner and out the corner of his eye he saw this bloke with his eyes rolling around his head marching across to him, when he got nearer he saw him pulling a revolver out of his trousers under his vest, so he pushed his mate one way and he went the other and fucked off into the crowd........... he said that was proper scary hew

the only reason for that is because there's so few people live in newcastle city centre which is where the stats go off.
