    yeah.

it's likw direct debit, comes straight from your account into the sellers account - cost u nothing for PAYING but cost people to RECEIVE money, i.e. the sellers.

it's hand if u're just buying stuff - there's lots of horror stories - but if you're casreful - you'll be reet.

what do u mean horror stories?

they cant just TAKE the ££ out of my account unless i agree to buy it can they?

No - you have to actually MAKE a payment to them, they don't see any of your details, they just recieve a 'payment notification' in their PayPal account.

Horror stories about people buying really expensive stuff, getting ripped off when the item never arrives... but if you're careful - it's fine

I've used Paypal for years and have never had a problem with it. Its very useful. Whenever I've had a problem with a buyer/seller, they've always been fair in sorting it out too.

I use it but always remove my card details off my account once I have paid.

Obviously still open for some sort of hacking but minimises the risk.

im sick of it, i used ebay like 4 or 5 times to get older records, now its fucked up, i sign into ebay, then go to purchase something, it asks me to sign into paypal, once i have it takes me back to ebay, i try to buy and it asks me to sign in again, and it keeps doing this

Paypal is starting to annoy me now. Payments are taking somewhere in the region of 8 days to clear. Is this the case with anyone else?

Not that handy spesh when your wanting something pronto. May as well just pay a few extra quid and get speedy guaranteed delivery i.e. Play.com

    Paypal is fucking evil!!!!

I have had an acocunt for 4 or so years, all of a sudden they've held over £500 of my money and I can't get at it- it's 'pending investigaton' which can take 180 days.....

What a fucking joke.....that's all my xmas money

I thought it was just me but it seems to happen to a few people
