    PC Probs?

I have just recently re-installed everything on my PC and then installed Virgin's new PC Guard thing what PC Guard used to be for telewest.

Everytime i go to close the PC off i delete cookies / temporary internet files and then i empty the reycle bin - the next time i turn the PC on there's temp files still in the recycle bin with RMB then a number and .tmp?

Does anyone know what these are, would these be things deleted by the security software and how are they there when i delete everything when i am closing down?

I think as soon as the PC's starting up they must go there.

    Cheers

    RB3.tmp
    RB5.tmp

At the moment, anyone shed any light on these?

    Cheers

I did a quick Google on it and it appears to be from the Hotbar spyware.

    Download spybot here

    Download AdAware here

And if you have legit windows, download windows defender here

Install any updates and run scans. Clear any crap, then reboot and see if it's sorted.

My (limited) experience with that PC Guard has led me to believe that its shite so you might want to use something else.

    Indeed!

You are probably better off with AVG Anti Virus and Zone Alarm firewall all the same :)
